The Friends can be found in the Community Hub (chapel with the roof) on a Wednesday from 10am until 12.30pm.

At least one member will be patrolling the cemetery daily, so look out for a green coat if you're in the cemetery in the afternoon, though times may vary.
VISITING THE CEMETERY | WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
The Friends meet every Wednesday morning. If you need us, please call then or email any time.
The gates close at 5.30pm (Oct - Mar) or 9pm (April - Sept). The Peace Garden closes at 4pm.
Smoking is permitted, but please dispose of tabs in the bins provided.
Dogs are permitted but must be on a lead at all times. Dog waste can be disposed of in any bin and bag dispensers are available.
Litter must be disposed of in the bins provided. Including old flowers & tealight cases.
Ornaments and artificial flowers are permitted, except ornaments in the Peace Garden.
TRAVEL INFORMATION
BUS
Wombwell is very easy to get to on public transport. There are many bus stops on the High Street which is only a few minutes away from the cemetery. For bus times, tickets, and more information, visit the Stagecoach Journey Planner.
TRAIN
The cemetery is a 15-20 minute walk away from Wombwell Train Station. For train times, tickets, and more information, visit the National Rail Journey Planner or Trainline.
PARKING
Free car parking is available on Cemetery Road and Summer Lane, as well as around Wombwell. Although street parking is available outside the cemetery, we do not encourage this out of respect for residents. To find car parks in Wombwell, visit Parkopedia.
